Hans Rohrer

Chairman of the Board

Sr. Vice President Business Development, Diodes

Hans Rohrer has more then 30 years successful track record within the semiconductor industry.
Prior to his current position of Senior VP  for Business Development with Diodes Incorporated, a leading global manufacturer of discrete and analog products, Hans was the CEO of Zetex PLC a worldwide operating semiconductor company headquartered in the UK. Before that Hans was President of TMSC Europe. Latterly, he was instrumental in some far reaching industry co-operations between TSMC, Philips and STM.
Before TSMC, Hans enjoyed a seventeen tenure at National Semiconductor where he held several management positions. He started his career in the semiconductor industry at Texas Instruments in 1977.

Hans has an electronic engineering back ground and received business management education at the Stanford University Palo Alto, California and INSEAD, Paris,France. Having served on the boards of several international operating companies, Hans has considerable board expertise in both privately held as well as listed companies. 


Elderd Land

Elderd Land joined Gimv in 2000 as Partner in the pan European Venture Capital team. Based out of the Netherlands, he is actively investing in the Technology and Medtech/HealthCare sectors, in both early and late stage innovative companies that need funding for their growth ambitions. Active board member and sparring partner for the entrepreneurs with focus on business building and value creation in the ventures which has led to several success stories. He is responsible for the investments in GreenPeak, Human Inference, Mentum and RES Software. Previously he managed the investments in 3mensio (acquired by Esaote), Liquavista (acquired by Samsung), Psytechnics (acquired by Netscout). In addition actively supported several Gimv investments that did an IPO at Euronext such as Telenet and Option.

Prior to Gimv, he served at ABN AMRO Corporate Finance responsible for the telecom and internet sector teams in Amsterdam. Before, he worked at KPN Telecom in the International Business Development group on various assignments in Europe and Asia. Elderd started his career in Latin America and Asia at Van Oord an international dredging & marine contractor. He holds a Master in Business Administration from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (the Netherlands).



Richard Marsh

Richard Marsh has worked in start-ups and venture capital since 1997 and is an experienced entrepreneur as well as a venture capitalist.
He founded and built Datanomic, a Cambridge-based software company which was a pioneer of Data Quality software and was acquired by Oracle.
As an investor, Richard has worked across software, hardware, mobile and cleantech sectors. He is responsible for DFJ Esprit’s investments in Connectivity (acquired by KCOM, LSE:KCOM), Garlik (acquired by Experian, LSE: EXPN), GreenPeak Technologies, Polatis, Psytechnics (acquired by NetScout, NASDAQ: NTCT) and ZBD Solutions.

Richard is an Engineering graduate of Cambridge University where he also received his PhD. Richard holds an MBA from IMD, Lausanne, where he was a Sainsbury Management Fellow.


Jan Westerhues

Jan Westerhues is Investment Partner with Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH ( in Frankfurt, Germany.

Prior to this position Jan was responsible for Bosch Corporate Strategy in the Asia Pacific region, based in Shanghai, China. He gathered extensive experience in strategy consulting before joining the Bosch Group. Jan holds a degree in engineering and business administration (Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing.) from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany and is a CFA charter holder.


RBVC is the corporate venture arm of Robert Bosch GmbH ( The VC fund invests worldwide in start-up companies either directly or via Venture Capital Funds. Investment focus is technology companies along the line of Bosch current and future business. RBVC provides capital for minority stakes in start-ups from early to expansion stage.

Atul Sinha


Atul Sinha has a vast experience in semiconductors, computing, and telecom industry.


Atul co-founded Silicon Hive and served as its Chief Executive Officer from its foundation in 2003 until its acquisition by Intel in 2011. He defined and executed the strategy to build Silicon Hive as a global brand in semiconductor and mobile industry and following the acquisition, he successfully integrated the company and technology inside Intel, leading to camera experience shown by Intel at MWC Barcelona 2013.

Prior to Silicon Hive, Atul was responsible for business development at Philips Research, after 10 years of active research at Philips Research Palo Alto and Eindhoven.

Atul started his career at Centre for Development of Telematics in India.
